I like the pinch pots, how they look and how they are made with clay and paint. I use green, blue, white, black and pink. And I like sculpting. Clay is so fun and satisfying and I like cardboard collages. Because it is so fun.

My art is inspired by the real world and my mom. I try to put as much effort as I can into my designs/art work. I like to make artwork designed for the real world. My favorite art piece that I did in Ms.Meg’s class was the found object and the fabric. I like those ones because I got creative with them and I put a lot of effort into those art pieces. My least favorite art that I did was the pinch pot. I didn't like the pinch pot because It didn't come out like I wanted it to. I put a lot of pressure into the clay and it came out too thick but I also put so many colors on it and carved it. It looked like a big blob. Every year me and my family make designs for our house and everytime I do the designs I get inspired to make art. My message of my artwork to the world is Never give up and make what you want to make. I always try to make my art aesthetic. If I had to make an art piece I would do the pinch pot and I will change the Color and the thickness of it. The purpose of art that I believe is to relax and have fun! I used clay to make my pinch pot, the self-portrait I made out of colored paper.

I mainly like to make drawings and paintings, but have also made fabric collages, a found object assemblage, and things from clay. I’ve always loved art, and so does my family. Practically everyone in my family, from my sister to my cousins, all love art.
I started out drawing horses when I was around 6 years old, which turned into (an attempt at) realism, which then turned into anime and cartoons.
My favorite project I’ve made this year is a fabric collage consisting of brown and pink floral patterns that I love the color scheme of. My favorite drawing of all, though, is one that I gave to my art teacher a year or so ago, and is now on the wall hanging up near the door.
I’m so glad that I decided to start doing art, it has affected my life in so many amazing ways.
I also love music, and a lot of my art is inspired by that. A drawing that I made recently was actually inspired by a song by one of my favorite singers, Jack Stauber.

I make art in many different styles and techniques. Some of these are collages, clay sculptures, and found object assemblages. I use these different techniques to create unique textures, and emotions. For example in my magazine collage i use pictures underneath the ocean attempting to add an eerie, or creepy look. I also use strange fish to further show this emotion.
My favorite piece that I have created in this art class is my self portrait paper collage. It uses many unique techniques. An example of this is the shine I put on the left of my portrait.
Overall I feel that I have come very far since I began creating art. Just a couple years ago I was doodling unrealistic monsters consisting of basic shapes. In the present i'm very proud of what i have accomplished and i have high hopes for the future.

The message of my artwork changes like the weather. When I'm feeling good I can make a calming cloudy night sky or I can draw the complete opposite. But the memo I'm trying to reach to you is art can be anything! But my main point is that my art depends on my mood. Mostly I just try to reach the message that you can do anything if you put your mind on it. And just art that motivates everyone. My favorite project was my pinch pot, but I think I can improve my art later in life. And test my realism and my watercolor ability. But I would just like to thank everyone who supported me. You know who you are!
AND SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO MY TWO ART TEACHERS
MS. MEG
MR. MANTHEY
Thank you so much for taking the time to consider my art! And again thank you to all of the people who took time and energy to be kind to me!!! :]

My art is inspired by the the tv show naruto my artwork is one of the many abilities of the show called the rinnegan eye it is an eye but it has a pattern of purple and black lines going until the end of the eye it gives the user abilities that are very super human as being able to see things invisible to the normal human eye and being able to swap positions with the will of the user but were all human so of course if you get inflicted damage its going to hurt. My artwork takes part in this as seeing that it's not perfect it still has some down sides but for the most part its correctly painted, i also took the liberty to add extra coating of colors to not let the paint seep revealing the bit of clay that might be lingering to show and it worked out great seeing as my friends liked it honestly i wasn’t too happy because it had some flaws that really annoyed me first i had it a nice shade of purple it was just right but it ran out luckily i had already gotten the second layer on so nothing could go wrong right? WRONG when I was adding the black I made the circle in the middle too big. I let go of the brush for a second and it streaked out of the circle. And seeing as the purple that was PERFECT was out i had to use a darker purple which didn’t look so great but there was nothing i could do there was no more of the purple i needed so it was my final result.
While I am not glad BUT I got it done considering it was my first pinch pot that had many flaws during creation but I kept going on and I feel that everyone shouldnt give up and keep going no matter what's going on.

I like to make stick figures. The message of my art is if you're not that good at making real people like real bodies and arms, keep trying because I'm also bad at it but I won't quit. I believe the purpose of art is making cool, nice stuff and also inspiring people to draw. I mean I got inspired by someone drawing a human. I tried to do it but I failed but I loved it.

Hi, I am Amiya. I'm 11 and my art is inspired by being centered. My favorite project I made was the assemblage of how I felt when I made it. I felt like I was making where I wanted to go. The assemblage has a forest and a beach and a bunch of sand! I am inspired by art because when you make your art you can paint out your feelings. The artwork that I picked for the show was my self portrait because when I made my self portrait, it took some time to make and I felt like that was the one that I worked the hardest on.

Catrina Rivera
Hello, my name is Catrina. I love art and I am going to try my best to do different kinds of art. I was inspired by my older sister Legna, she was the one I never gave up on when I said I couldn't do art. She was always there for me. I love to make stuff with clay. My favorite piece was probably my fabric, found object and clay. For the found object we tried to do a flower field. For the fabric I tried to do a pattern with colors. For clay we made a pinch pot. I love art because you don't copy other people and you can have fun with it and be creative. There is never anything wrong with not being good at art. It might feel hard but trust the process. Never say you are bad at something. Thank you for listening to my story. The end.

Hi, I'm Raymone
I really loved these art lessons and my favorite lesson was the clay. The reason I really loved the clay was because it was difficult yet really fun. I actually had a hard time making the pinch pot cause when it was drying there was a dent and I had to add more clay. I really loved doing my self portrait collage but I would definitely change it if I did it again. I would make it match colors and make the eyes smaller and make the hair like mine. My belief in the purpose of art is that you can get creative and do anything you want with it.
Special thanks to Ms.Meg and Mr.Manthey the amazing art teacher :D

My art is inspired by nature and sports. Nature is what inspires me and makes me calm and happier. Sports are something that i enjoy and i think that art is about enjoying something then that thing you enjoy you show how much u enjoy that thing. What do you think art is meant for and what does it mean? I used stuff like cardboard and drawings to create my art. My favorite project I have made was my drawing of a mountain view from when I made it in 3rd grade.

A lot of my art projects are inspired by water, more specifically, the ocean. I really like the way waves move in the ocean. So when I made my clay pot, I painted the pot with a mixture of different blues. After I painted, I used a loop hole tool to carve wave-like strokes on the pot. Another piece of art that involved the ocean that I created was the found object assemblage. I painted the background blue and used broken dvd shards, bottle caps, and styrofoam to symbolize trash in the ocean. When people look at my art, I want them to think of the ocean or feel at ease. I felt calm when I made my projects and I am really proud of how they turned out.

My art is inspired by what I think in my head and the materials I got so like my clay pot I thought “i’ll make a blue pot with a cool zigzag pattern” and surely enough I came up with it although there were some minor setbacks and with the cardboard project I got a whole bunch of things like some rocks a cut disk in half and a bunch of pom poms and I called it “The Ring” because the rocks and pom poms were in a circle formation and then the squares which I got a whole bunch of fabric and cut them into squares and hot glued them to make squares. My message of art to the world is “ when you're making art grab a bunch of random junk, think what you're going to do with it and then you get your art piece.” if I made squares again I would try my hardest to keep the squares organized and call it “organized squares.” I would say that my favorite project to do is The ring because I didn't know what to do at the time but as I was making it. It became clearer to me and I came out with “The Ring.” I believe the purpose of art is to let your imagination run wild with your art and making ordinary things into amazing things.

I believe the purpose of art is… that I can make many things like I can sketch draw make things with family members or even with friends or teachers because when I was in kindergarten I loved to draw and I will want to make many more things like what I can make with clay and when I came to this school and it was my first time making things out of clay because I made a pinch pot and it look pretty good because I painted it some day I would make many more things out of clay when I am in this school because when I came here it was a pretty nice school and my mom said that what I can learn I can make many more things like art sketches drawings or even painting. My mom said that I can pake painting and I dreamed of making things like stuff with clay because I really want to make stuff out of clay so I am trying to to come up with more ideas of what things I could make many more stuff because I am trying so hard to make stuff out of clay in some of my art class. I want to make things with friends and family and when I grow up I could be an artist by making things. I could dream that I could make some more things because I dreamed of making an art project and that I could dream of making things.

Hello you might be asking “why should I spend 5 minutes of my precious time reading this about my art? Well to be honest~ you can leave any time.
You are still here??? Well then if you want to know that bad give me those questions you got about my “amazing” art.
“Why do you do art??”
Now usually the reason why I make art is because I do it for fun.
“What does your art mean.??”
Well Most of my art is either related to animals or to the wilderness, for example the clay pinch pot I made was originally gonna be a brain, but sadly i wasn’t able to find a small enough brush to make those tiny little lines, you might be like.
“Why are you making a brain out of all the things you were talking about the wilderness and animals.??”
Well my mother works in a lab and man she talks to me all the time about how cool the brains were in person, and plus because the pinch pot was starting to look more like a sundae bowl with a flat lid so yeah.
“Okay :), wanna tell me your favorite project.”
Well my favorite would probably be the self collageous, I feel like it came out really well and probably im most proud of it.
And man can I say that I look very hot in that photo, the hair and everything, would you agree.
“Uhm…..”
Okay I'm not that bad, and I think I'm pretty, even if you don't think that.
Now I feel happy about all of my art pieces and am proud of them all.

My art is inspired by clay figurines because the clay was fun. We made it into a bowl and then we can color it. I was so happy when she said we can color. Then I colored with a Naruto theme and was about to add some else but I was out of time. Then we have extra minutes and make another clay and about to make a pinch pot.
My art is inspired by collages because it was fun and I make my with
